Knocktoran Stud, Killmallock, Co. Limerick – Sells for €4.3 million
Coonan Property have sold Knocktoran Stud for €4.3 million at Public Auction on Thursday 28th September at the Castletroy Park Hotel, Castletroy, Limerick. The property was offered for sale in the following lots:
- Lot 1 – Approx. 99 acres (40 ha) with gate lodge, stewards house, yard, gallops and isolation yard
- Lot 2 – Knocktoran House on approx. 15.2 acres (6.2 ha)
- Lot 3 – Approx. 137 acres (55.4 ha) with outbuildings
- Lot 4 – The Entire on approx. 251 acres (101.6 ha)
The bidding was brisk with the property ultimately sold in its entirety. Bidding for the entire started at €3.4 million with 3 active bidders quickly bringing the lot to €4.1 million when the property was placed on the market and subsequently sold for €4.3 million. However, the buyer’s identity remains a mystery after the prestigious property was bought in trust for a client by a Limerick based solicitor.
