The auction of this renowned property sold on Thursday 16th July to a packed auction room in Lawlor’s Hotel in Naas. The auction opened with a bid of €1,400,000 and proceeded without delay in bids of €100,000 up to €2,850,000. Philip Byrne of Coonan Property briefly adjourned the auction to get vendors instructions and returned placing the property on the market. A new party entered the bidding and competed in bids of €50,000 up to the final selling price of €3,650,000. The purchaser was a local businessman.
