Sunny September Public Auction sees property sold for €265,000
Cottage on c. 28 acres at Paristown, Clonmellon, Co. Westmeath
Coonan Property recorded a sale of land by Public Auction on Wednesday 16th September 2020, where a cottage on c. 28.6 acres of agricultural land made €265,000. This transpired to be a very favourable auction.
The event was held at the property and had a good attendance. Safety measures were adhered to at all times in keeping with the current Covid 19 guidelines. The sunny September day made for a great atmosphere and showed the idyllic rural setting in all its glory.
There were 2 bidders on the day. The opening bid was placed at €230,000. Bidding proceeded in increments of €5,000 to €10,000 until a figure of €265,000 was reached. After a short interval, the property was placed on the open market whereby it sold at the price of €265,000. We wish the purchasers of this fine lot every success in the future.
